Poor quality video loads in Edge browser with no option to load HD?

I guess the subject sort of says it all. I just used the 16:9 version iframe EMBED code like what follows and found that the video loads in Edge as quite poor quality with no option for HD. Ideally I'd like to load the video as default HD, but first things first I guess, I'd like to at least have HD as an option.

<div style="position:relative; padding-bottom:56.25%; overflow:hidden;"><iframe src="//" width="100%" height="100%" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" allowfullscreen style="position:absolute;"></iframe></div>

Edge has native HLS support so not having an HD button is expected behavior as it handles all rendering and quality switching. Does a javascript embed behave the same way? It really seems to be the browsers choice.

Thanks George. I sort of discovered this and thus opted to try the javascript embed instead, but it's having the "cutting off" issue mentioned in my other question.
