Video URL Upload Not Showing Data

I'm using JW player on my site, but only for the video player. I'm not hosting any of my video content on JW.

I recently uploaded the URL of one of my videos, and no analytics are showing up. Is there any way to get video analytics for a video if I'm only using the player API?
