Mute state is getting saved at user level

Hi,

It seems like jwplayer is saving user's state of mute/unmute. If a user unmutes the video and goes to different page and watches different video it plays on unmute even though our configuration says 'mute:true'. How to fix this issue? how to always force to start video on mute?

Thanks

Hello,

I believe this is the case with our player as the localstorage is a single storage point and within that session will read the data present for the player during that time period. I will however pass this along to our engineers for review.

Hello,

I have heard back from our engineering team. When a user has the mute: true feature set within the player, our player should override the localstorage setting within the browser and set the player to mute once again on a new player install. The behavior he/she is experiencing is not intended. is this happening across the board for them with all videos or is this just specific to one user on one machine?
