Blind Accessibility

This question obviously concerns the use of JWPlayer for audio streaming, only. Has any provision been made to provide "ALT" tags that can be read by Screen Readers? Since sightless users can't see the player controls, it would be helpful if they could be tagged so a screen reader could identify them. Thank you.
