Roku Ads

We're testing JW Player as a potential replacement for our current provider. (We represent a small studio that produces a nationally syndicated cable and satellite automotive show.) We are looking at the Roku App builder and we want to be clear about the capabilities/interaction of JW Player with our Roku Channel. Can JW Player show/insert our ads when supplying video content to the Roku, or is that just a feature of the player on devices (computer and/or mobile device)?

Hi,

The JW Player doesn’t take part in playing the content on the Roku app. All content playback and advertising would have to be managed via the Roku Direct Publisher.
