New License Key for version 6.12
We need to use version 6.12 player but we need a new license key. Is this possible still as of January 2017?

Our support for JW Player version 6.xx was terminated on December 31, 2016. We can not issue JW6 license keys. The agreement governing version 6.xx is available at https://www.jwplayer.com/jw6-tos/.

We need to supply videos to nonprofits who are unable to upgrade past ie8. Is there any sort of work around?

A workaround would be to use the existing JW6 cloud-hosted players in your dashboard, as long as you don’t update these to JW7. Is there a reason you can no longer use your original JW6 key?

Existing JW6 keys will remain active but we do not issue new JW6 license keys. This version of the license is no longer available for sale nor supported by our Support team.

We are setting this up for a client who wants to have their own license. They have already set up their account and purchased a license key that we were going to implement for them. They purchased it a week or two ago and it was for version 7.
