Can JWPlayer handle HDS nDVR without flash player?
Hello,
I would like to know if JWPlayer can handle HDS nDVR from Wowza Streaming Engine for both PC and Android platform WITHOUT adobe flash player installed?

HDS streams require Flash, so no, they cannot be played without Flash installed.
My suggestion, if possible, would be to make your streams available via HLS instead. HLS can be played with JW Player 7.8 in all updated browsers (IE Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on desktops) and Android Chrome and iOS Safari without Flash.

I tried the DVR demo on my Android device (Latest Chrome). The Live stream works but the DVR feature won't work. Do you have any clue? https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1430265-dvr-live-streaming

I just got clarification from our Android expert. Chrome for Android does not have native support for DVR streams, therefore our player is currently not able to provide DVR functionality.
