HLS vs DASH

Hello,
I'm quite new to on-demand streaming video.

I'm planning to use Amazon S3 + Cloudfront to deliver my videos using JW Player; I will probably use Amazon Elastinc Transcoder service to convert my original mp4 files as needed.
Is it better to use HLS or DASH ? Are there big differences in browser support or not using JW Player in both formats?

Please help me understanding which way to proceede.
