Many people are complaining that JW 7.8 + Vpaid1 ads (with Flash 23) and Chrome 54 is causing instability.
1. Aw Snaps on 1/3 of visitors
2. Even people who are able to use browsers other than Chrome (like Firefox or Edge) is seeing increased CPU usage
Is JW 7.8 expected to consume more CPU / memory in Flash mode?
I am not aware of any similar errors. Can you provide a link to a page where we can reproduce this?
I just watched about a dozen videos with ads at http://www.earnhoney.com/en/videos/ but I am not seeing any errors.
JW Player 7.8 is horrendous. We are seeing the same thing & exploring options to leave JW Player due to constant issues that costs us insane amounts of revenue.

Here’s an update from our Product Manager:
We made a fix Saturday evening, code that was intended to make sure that if Flash was not available during setup the player would load in HTML5. An edge case situation would cause a loop that would crash a small percentage of browsers. This would have only happened for Flash only setups. We highly recommend migrating away from Flash.
