HLS on Android

Hello!

I have this player:
https://painel.playnow.cloud/player/BDFC80B9-B059-4ADC-871D-624FA24B3917

And it works perfectly on desktop and iOS, but on Android it doesn't loads the video.

Did I made a mistake or forgot something on player config? Or there's some issue with HLS and Android?

Thanks!

I’ll need some additional information:
Which version of Android? Which browser? Device make and model?

Hello George!

I'm testing on a Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android 6.0.1 and Google Chrome latest version.

Hi,

I’m getting a Crossdomain error when trying to play your media.
https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1403679-crossdomain-file-loading

However here’s a test page with modified code. Important note is the sources block and type:“hls” that should solve your playback issues.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi George,

I've tested your page here. The crossdomain error doesn't occurs here, but I found a SSL error here that only on Android's Chrome happens.
But the player still not works, even if I allow Chrome to access the domain ignoring the SSL error.

Debugging here I got a warning: "OMException: The element has no supported sources.". What could it be?

Note: I've tested my player and your test page on the default Galaxy S5 internet browser and it works.

Could you fix the crossdomain issue for the stream, this way I can test the stream?

George,

I've tested here and I think the SSL problem is solved. Now the player is working perfectly on Android!

Could you please test if the crossdomain error is gone too?

Thanks for the help!
