Our company plans to buy a video player. I've checked several popular video players, found JW Player almost meet our needs. Before we buy this player, I have a few questions to consult:
1. We may insert ads before the video play. Ad Formats include pic and video. And we don't want to rely on Ad Clients like VAST/Google IMA, we'd like to build a ad system by ourself. So we need the player support get ads data from our own ad system. I hope the player have this feature.
2. Although JW player has many features. But there are several features JW player dosen't have, So we need develope those features on JW Player by ourself. Is it easy for secondary development on JW PLAYER? How we handle the flash player when we add new features.
3. We buy this player for a secondary develope. Which we need is only the player, We don't need anything of jw platform. Is all features of JW player work correctly when not rely on jw platform?
4. $999/yr is ok, is there a invoice for the order which I need to apply for reimbursement.

Our advertising implementation can only play ads using the VAST or IMA ad clients. You can create your own VAST-compliant ad tag, which you can see an example on this page, if you would like.

Can you elaborate on what features you are looking for that JW Player does not have? I can probably shed some light into whether or not such functionality is on our roadmap. As for developing on top of JW Player, we have our JavaScript API that you can use to add functionality. Otherwise, we do not have an additional SDK for plug-ins.

You can use our player successfully with content hosted on external hosting providers. However, if you would like to be able to gather analytics using our platform, you would have to add the externally hosted content’s URLs to the platform to create a Media ID which our analytics platform will the use to gather stats on plays, time viewed, etc.
4. $999/yr is ok, is there a invoice for the order which I need to apply for reimbursement.
The Premium and Platinum accounts are only available as an automatically recurring subscription that will be charged to a credit card or PayPal account every year. You will be able to retrieve a copy of the invoice from your dashboard after the charge, but the ability to pay via invoice is not available for those account levels.
