Analytics for generated mediaId

Hi, we have problems getting analytics for our externally hosted videos.
This is what we are doing:
1- We get a Media Id for each video using the '/videos/create' api
2- Then we embed the video on the site using the jwplayer api and on the setup we set the respective mediaid

Also I noted when I request the videos from the api, their status is "created".

So, Am I missing something, or doing something wrong?

Can you please supply a link to a reproduction page? We should be able to verify whether or not the pings to our analytics database are working properly on that page.
