I'm a JW5 user. My embeds work perfectly, except that suddenly poster images will no longer display. Older videos with posters still work fine, and using those posters in new videos works fine, but newly created .jpg or .png files will not display. Is something different now?? Help!

We no longer provide support for JW Player 5. We recommend you look into the current version of the player, JW Player 7.

Thanks, Jessenia! I opened a new account. I also made a test page to show you the problem, but then I couldn't reproduce it... And then I discovered that magically all the issues with poster images on my other pages had gone away, too. Since the problem is solved, I won't ask for an explanation -- but I wouldn't mind... At this point, everything works, so I see no compelling reason to upgrade from JW5 to JW7, since that would entail tweaking 100+ players.
