JW Player is a Javascript library to help web developers embed videos on their web pages. A visitor to their web site should be able to view those videos directly in their web browser without installing anything (if the web developer follows our instructions).
So if you’re a viewer and not a web developer, then there is nothing you need to install.
If you’ve found a page on the internet where a web developer has embedded a video with our player but it is not working for you, please send a note to that web site and be sure to include the following details:
• a link to the page
• the error message you saw
• the web browser and operating system of your computer or device
We unfortunately do not have a way to fix the problem ourselves. Only the people that have direct access to the web site code on the page can fix the problem for you.
