Non-Stop Buffering in Safari

I am having an issue with my live RTMP stream and Safari on OSX.

The player just continues buffering non-stop and never actually plays.

I have no such problems in Chrome or any other browser.

Hi there,

I am seeing the same behavior in Safari, but also in Chrome and VLC. Is the stream live right now? If not, when can I expect it to be live so I can test it?

Thank you.

Sorry about that. The stream should now be running and should continue to run until I hear back from you.

Thank you Alex for looking into this.

Hi there,

The stream is continuing not to work for me in any browser or player. All I get, in any scenario, is the buffering icon.

Please try it again. I am terribly sorry about the last two times.

It’s still not working for me. Is it working for you before you send it? Is it possible the stream is blocked for certain locations? I’m in New York.

There are no location restrictions in place. Please make sure you aren't pulling the page from your cache.

On PC: Ctrl + F5
On Apple MAC: CMD + R

I have been trying with the cache disabled since I began assisting you but with the same results. Also, testing a stream in a native client like VLC would not be using a browser’s cache. As one more step of troubleshooting, I tried using a tool called rtmpdump to attempt to retrieve your stream but it gave me the “NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound” error, so it was also unable to access your stream.
