Video auto mute

I have a social media site, and when you play a video its on auto mute, but when you turn the volume up t hear it, the volume stays up after you refresh the page or come back to the page. I want to know the code for this not to happen. If I refresh the page or return to the page I want the setting to be automatically reset to auto mute at all times.

Our player uses the browser’s local storage to remember the viewer’s manual changes to volume and stream quality. Your player settings or scripts on the page may be getting overwritten by this local storage setting.
