Have you tried in JW7? I just tested a similar setup in JW Player 7.3.6 but I was not able to reproduce this error.

Yes, it was tried in JW 7.3.6 too, but the error still exists with Chrome. Clicking on the mailTo link in Chrome causes the video to stop and it does not restart unless you refresh the page.

Send me a link to a page where you are seeing this. I tested this on my side and was not able to reproduce it.

For test you need click in run button, then you see the video and then press the button "Mailto Bug - Click Here".
And the video is black.-

The player version on http://jsfiddle.net/jidecima87/qxe99tzm/1/ is 6.12.4956. The most recent version of our player is 7.4.3.

I just tested a 7.4.3 player with a mailto: link on the page in the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on my Mac. Safari and Firefox continue to play the video, but the player because unresponsive in Chrome. I will escalate this to our engineers, but based on my test, my guess is that Chrome is doing something to stop the video when the browser tab loses focus.

Our engineers expect this issue in Chrome to be fixed in the next release of our player.
