after installing jw player plugin to wordpress a notification was appearing..it was saying : Don't forget to authorize this plugin to access your JW Player account.

after that i clicked on it and it,it said : In order to use the JW Player plugin, you need to authorize the plugin to access the data in your JW Player account. (Don't have a JW Player account yet? Sign up here).

Insert your JW Player API Credentials below. These are located in the Account > Properties > Choose property section of your dashboard.

followed the instructions and inserted the api key and api secret..that's the moment when i encountered the error!!

what can i do?

I just tested this with my local Wordpress installation. I am able to successfully authenticate with version 1.5.1 of our plugin and the API key and secret. Are you still seeing the error on your side?

My suggestion would be to add your content to your JW Player account dashboard, either by a direct upload or by adding the external URL if your video is already hosted elsewhere.

Our dashboard enables you to add poster images, custom metadata, captions tracks, etc. We also have really cool analytics. After you add your videos to your JW Player account, you can also customize the players as well. Once these are done in the JW Player account dashboard, our Wordpress plugin’s widget makes it really easy to choose the video and player you want to embed directly in a post.
