Google Analytics Events Definitions

I started using the plug-in for Google Analytics Events Integration. https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1417179-integration-with-google-analytics

It works great, but I noticed that the documentation didn't really define specifically what all the events were and what actions exactly trigger them. A lot of them are fairly self-explanatory based on their names, but a few are slightly vague.

Does anyone know where I can find those specific event definitions?
Or does anyone know specifically what the "Buffering" event is and what triggers it?

Hi - we also have this same question. I just searched and found this thread.

We're interested in knowing the answer too, specifically what triggers the "buffering" event:

Hi, Rob.

My name is Alex and I am one of the Support Engineers at JW Player. I will be more than happy to assist you with your questions.

Here are what the states of the player refer to:

buffering: user pressed play, but sufficient data to start playback has to be loaded first. The buffering icon is visible in the display.

playing: the video is currently playing. No icon is visible in the display.

paused: the video is currently paused. The play icon is visible in the display.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you need any more help or have any other questions.

Thank you!
