Pop-up window in Firefox asks to save the file
I hope that I have the right section for this question.
My website - www.sealeatherwear.com - has been using the Media Player on the home page since 2008. There has not been a potential issue until now.
I need to update the version of PHP on my host, probably to 5.5. It seems that when the version of PHP is changed to 5.5, it is triggering a pop-up window, which asks if I want to open or save a file, when the home page (which contains the video) is accessed. I withheld the upgrade, pending resolving the issue.
My web host is telling me that it is because of a buffer in php being too small to hold the data, and I am being advised to test this by removing various sections of the home page, among which is the video, to see if the problem is due to one of those.
I thought I would ask in advance, if you are aware of any issue that may arise on a website, related to this, due to an old version of JW Media Player. I am told that IE and Chrome are OK, the pop-up just happens in Firefox.
Thanks.
