Video not buffering on mobile devices

I have added a self hosted player on my site and the video are coming from CloudFront. The problem is that the video plays properly on desktop but keeps on buffering when opening the page on mobile(chrome browser). Also if I pause the video to buffer then it shows that the video has buffered but when I play, the video starts again to buffer.
Below is the link where you can check the video page:

Hi, there.

I believe your issue is related to the encoding of your MP4 file. When I visited your link on an Android device, I received a “File could not be played” error in the player. I then downloaded your MP4 and re-encoded it and uploaded both the original and re-encoded versions to my test server and embedded them on this page: http://qa.jwplayer.com/~abussey/demos/feb2016/73477-mp4-android-encode.html

The first video is your original file and it still does not play on the Android device. The second player is embedded with the same file, but re-encoded and it plays for me just fine.

Please let me know if you need any more help or have any other questions.

Thank you!

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your reply, but I am unable to access the link you have mentioned above. Can you please check the link so that I can test it on my android device.

Thanks.

Hi, there.

That link (http://qa.jwplayer.com/~abussey/demos/feb2016/73477-mp4-android-encode.html) is working fine for me on two different Android devices that I have tried. Are you receiving any sort of error message when you try to access that URL?

Thank you.

Hi, there.

I used Handbrake, which is a free application that you can use to encode videos. I would suggest leaving all options at their defaults, except for clicking the checkbox next to “Web Optimized” towards the middle of the window.

Please let me know if you need any more help or have any other questions.

Thank you!
