Since it's not possible to directly retrieve information from the analytics section is it in any way possible to download the analytics csv with the Platform API? Or maybe get a download url in which the media id is passed?

You can download .CSVs of your analytics by clicking on the blue “Export Data” button on the Analytics page. Is doing this causing an error for you?

No not really. My question is whether its possible to get .CSV file download url via the JWPlayer API. Or is there any other way to get this download link? I want to work with the analytics data on my own application.

Sorry about that. Since you said you were unable to retrieve information from the analytics section, I assumed you meant you were having issues doing so. As of now, analytics are not part of our Developer API but that will be coming someone this year.
