Can I use the self-hosted player with adaptive video?

I must use the self-hosted player (because I am building a page that implements Player.js)
As far as I can tell, in the setup, 'file' must be a video file.

I would like to use that self-hosted player to play content I uploaded on jwplayer.com
Do I have to link to a specific source (under Sources in my content's details), or is there a way to dynamically choose the most appropriate size?

Looks like you currently have a Free account, which means that our player will use the MP4 transcodes we create for you, but not the HLS M3U8 versions (which we also create for your uploads) that support adaptive streaming.
