json options for player

In Beta version 7.30 the new feature of json playlist is available and working - but I am unsure how ( if at all) I can add thumbnail tracks.
Also, when I add two file sources DASH first and HLS second, the HLS is played as priority, can this be made to work like a rss file with first source as priority?
