Hi, We run both google and vast ads through Zedo Ad network. We will add both google and vast tags into single Zedo Ad tag. Based on ranking and impressions served Zedo will switch to google or vast tag. So we need a function which runs on client side to detect the ad tag and change client: 'googima/vast', accordingly. i.e? client: 'auto'.

Hi, there.

There is no possible way for our player to make a request to the ad tag and then switch the advertising client used after the request. The client would either have to be set up as “googima” or “vast” before the initial ad request is made.
