HELLO, WHEN I ATTEMPT TO VIEW A JW PLAYER COMPATIBLE VIDEO ON IPAD SAFARI OR CHROME BROWSER I GET MESSAGE "THIS PLUGIN IS NOT SUPPORTED". HOW CAN I INSTALL THE JW PLAYER PLUGIN INTO EITHER SAFARI OR CHROME BROWSER ON IPAD? THANK-YOU

Our player uses Javascript and does not require a separate plugin or download. My guess is the web site you are viewing is trying to trick you into downloading something in order to watch the video, but this is not a requirement for using our player.

It is also possible that the developer of this web site is trying to use our player incorrectly. If you send a link to the page, I can take a look to figure out what is going on.

They are loading an HLS stream directly in the player with no MP4 fallback. They are also using an older version of our player that does not support HLS in HTML5 in Chrome, so if you are using Chrome, Firefox, or older versions of IE, then you must have Flash running in order to see this video.
