Black Background in Audio

Before starting an audio file the background image displays fine, but the moment playback begins the background vanishes.

This was asked in a prior question:

In that question Cooper Reid said the issue was being fixed and should make it into the 7.0.2 release. I am running 7.2.3 and the issue is still there.

Is there a solution in the works or a workaround?

It does not look like we implemented that functionality into our player, but there is a easy workaround that will allow you to have the same experience. Please see the demo page linked below for an example and code for it.
