I use VAST tags and when there are no ads in XML, player restarts video, when it gets to the point where it should show an ad (midroll). Everything was working as expected in jwplayer version 6: when it failed to load ad, it continued playing.
We need to be able to reproduce the issue before we can escalate it to our engineers. Can you please provide the ad tag that is causing this?

I see you are using JW 6.12.4956 on that page. Do you have a test page that uses JW Player 7.2.3?
I tried one of your ad tags in our Ads Tester at http://demo.jwplayer.com/ad-tester/ but I was not able to reproduce this issue.

I am able to reproduce your issue. It looks to only happen when using a mid-roll ad tag when streaming RTMP.
I’m going to have to escalate this to our Engineering team to see what they say. As soon as I hear back, I will let you know.

Our Engineers have determined that this is an issue when serving mid-roll ads when playing RTMP streams. They are working on a fix and hope to have it out when 7.3.0 is released in the next few weeks.
