[Important] Problem with Google Index & JW player CDN

HI,

I have a big problem with your Cloud-Hosted Player.

According to Google indexer (Search Console), my pages with a video has not indexed because of this url http://content.jwplatform.com/libraries/XXXX.js is blocked by the robot.txt of content.jwplatform.com (XXX = licence key).

That's why, I consult your robot.txt (http://content.jwplatform.com/robots.txt) and a see this :

User-agent: *
Disallow: /

Could you quickly modify your robots.txt ? All your customers are affected !!!

Or could you explain when we can hoster your player with MINIFIED version.

(I am sorry to contact by a community ask but it don't exist a contact form for Technical Support.)

Hello,

We’ve set the robots.txt to disallow indexing of content.jwplatform.com in order to ensure search engines promote links to our customers’ sites rather than our platform endpoints. In Google Search Console, you will see that the asset is excluded from indexing; however, other content on the page, including your video and meta tags (if you include them) will be indexed by Google. By not allowing indexing of content.jwplatform.com, we ensure that searches for your content don’t turn up links to JW Platform and that the weight of the links to your own pages and content are not diluted by links to the platform back end.
