Media ID for Mpeg DASH in playlist

If I have added a dash manifest to the analytics by way of external URL and I have got a media ID, but I want to use it in playlists created externally from the JW dashboard. Howe and where do I put the Media ID. Do I put it in the rss playlist in the item and exactly where and how is it formatted
