I'm new to the platform, so bear with me. I'm trying to figure out how to disable seeking and play/pause while keeping the ability to turn on/off captions.
I'm currently embedding my videos with the "JavaScript" style.
From reading the documentation, it seems like I could achieve this by customizing the skin, but I don't see where I can upload a custom skin. When creating a player, I can only choose one of the pre-existing skins.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is no built-in functionality to disable the player’s ability to seek through the content. You can possibly remove the appearance of the progress slider using CSS, but this is not a great solution, especially on mobile where the browser’s controls take over for ours, and would allow the user to seek again.
