HLS with HTML5

Hi,

Is it possible to play HLS without flash at all (using only html5) on JWPlayer 7?

Hi, there.

HLS is only natively supported, meaning it would not require Flash Player, on the following browsers:

  1. Safari on OS X and iOS
  2. Chrome on Android
  3. Microsoft Edge on Windows 10

All other browsers would require Flash Player to be installed. Chrome for Desktop comes with a version of Flash Player built-in, so it would not require the user to explicitly install Flash Player on their computer.
