Video resolution is changed

I've uploaded a video of resolution 960x540, however the highest h.264 version available on the platform is 720x406. Is there a way to get the original resolution of this video?

Hello,

Have you tried accessing the passthrough option? Also if you would like higher resolution videos we suggest uploading at least 1080p.

Kindly,

I found this link

http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1483133-streaming-your-original-videos

with information about the passthrough option. However, it appears to be a different dashboard than the one I can see. I don't have any 'playback' option under my player tab. We're using jwplayer7 and have a premium subscription but the options under the player tab is very limited.

Based on the description, it seems like this mode would remove adaptive HLS support, which we would still want. We just want the original resolution to be one of the options as well.

Hello,

Thats correct, you would need a Platform account to access that feature. You can always download your original stream with a Premium account but at the moment you cannot use it as a streaming method.

Ah ok the platform is your enterprise option, right? The docs don't really explain it to well and accessing the related jwplatform urls always rediirected me back to jwplayer.

Thanks for your help
