Wowza nDVR and JW Player 7

In the support file for DVR Live streaming, it is mentioned that buffering is handled on the streaming server, not within JW. http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1430265-dvr-live-streaming

I asked in the Wowza forums, and their support does not know exactly which buffer that refers to.. Can anyone give some tips on which to change? From my tinkering, it seems it is not <MaximumSetBufferTime>.

The only other buffer settings I've found are system wide, which would affect our live streams also - as in where we only want a few seconds of buffer..

Thanks for the help!

Hi, there!

We’re not familiar with settings on the Wowza side of things, or if they allow you to set the buffer length for a specific stream and not for all of your streams.

Please note, however, that the minimum buffer length needed for DVR streams for our player is two minutes.

Please let me know if you need any more help or have any other questions.

Thank you!
