Batch Upload Local files

Is there a csv template, similar to http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1758770-batch-video-migration-in-jw-platform, for batch uploading multiple local files into JW Platform using the API? Is there a better way to upload potentially hundreds of files in a row from a local server?
