Black screen after video is paused for more than 3 min

Everytime i run a video the screen goes black after 1-3min.
the video is still there and it can be played on from that point.

i am using the javascript setup for the player and url of the video and the on time event to pause the video.

any clues?

p.s doesnt matter if i use the html5 or swf version.
using V6.
