Elapsed time in flash mode is not working

I am having trouble with flash mode in JW6 because elapsed time is not working fine in live streaming. Time is always 00:00.

It also affects to getDuration method, also 0 all the time. And onTime method is not triggering.

In html5 mode everything works fine.

There is a simple code with this problem: http://jwplayer.add.cat/player.html

I need to solve it, help will be really appreciated.

Hi Pep,

With a live broadcast stream, you will not see the elapsed time. Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Heidi,

Thank you for your answer.

The problem is that if I pause the player and then resume, it starts from the beginning instead of continue playing from the las position. How can I solve this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pep,

When I tested your stream using JW Player 7.0.1, and the stream works as you expect. When I pause it, and play again, it picks up where it left off. Would it be possible for you to use JW Player 7? If not let me know, I will investigate a different solution.

Hi Heidi,

No, it is not possible to upgrade to JW7.

Please, let me know if there is a solution for this using JW6.

Thanks,
Pep

Hi Pep,

JW Player does not support mp3 as a live stream in JW 6. As a workaround, you could try using an RTMP stream. The documentation here may help you http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1403635-media-format-reference

Let me know if you have further questions.

Cheers, Heidi
