would like to see a page you refer to.
If they are mp4 files, it is strange, they should continue to buffer until downloaded

Is this a JW Player? I am confused, how did you customize the right click ( if it is JW Player 7)

ok, so it is m3u8 which is streaming. It is supposed to stop downloading when you press pause. This saves bandwidth... and I do not have a problem with any restarting

though you would want to clean up the URL, it is broken with whitespace... can cause issues perhaps

Hi, Gerivaldo.

As Mark said, I do not have any issues with buffering and stuttering on the link you provided. It plays perfectly normally for me.

The problem is, i'm from brazil, and here the internet is not so good, so the users here usually wait for the buffer for play video without pauses .
I've tried to use the Mpeg Dash protocol, but they don't work well.

MPEG DASH or Apple HLS should not pause at all, since it starts at the lowest quality and works up if it can.

how can i set the buffer percent to the whole video?

Hi, Gerivaldo.

There is no way to control the buffering for HLS or MPEG-DASH streams. There is a way to control it for RTMP streams, but that would require your users to have Flash installed, which is not going to work on mobile.

HLS and MPEG-DASH should be smart enough, as Mark said, to automatically control its own buffer based on the user’s bandwidth.

The only suggestion I may have for you is to possibly re-encode your video file with something like Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr), making sure to encode it as a MP4, H.264 and have Web Optimized checked, and then recreate the HLS file and see if that is any better.

Please let me know if you need any more help or have any other questions.

Thank you!

Alex and Mark, Thank you very much for the support, i'll try this suggestion and post the result later.

will the video be smaller but with the same quality if i use the H.265 codec with low bitrate?

Hi, Gerivaldo.

It should, but please keep in mind that H.265 is not yet widely support worldwide, so I would not suggest encoding with that and sticking to H.264.
