Serious problem Chrome and mixed content

I have found serious problems with mixed content and Chrome on Windows 10. Not sure if it is operating system related. The result is sustainable "error loading playlist error loading file" behaviours between page loads.

By mixed content I mean having a playlist with one item DASH and another item HLS --- OR-- having an item with both DASH and HLS or HLS and MP4.

It seems to me that it is obvious the html5<>flash switch is having major problems in this browser ( possibly Win 10 related)

Forgive me for no sample link, it will take multiple embeds to show what I mean and I just don't have the time right now.

I can say that Microsoft Edge and Firefox work fine ( Edge doesn't need to use flash because it is rendering HLS in HTML5)

I can guarantee you I have spent hours nutting this out to find what circumstances makes this happen and there is a real problem with mixing content. I just don't have more hours to show you 5 different pages and explain it all right now.
