JW7 controls don't hide until mouseover

notice that the controls are visible when the page loads, but they don't hide unless you hover over the player then move the mouse away (while the video is still playing).
when videos are autostarted (or even programmatically started), the controls should hide automatically after a delay without requiring the user to mouse in/out of the player.
