How to ensure JWPlayer once in Fullscreen mode is placed above all elements (HTML5/Phonegap/Android)

I've created a HTML5 site in Adobe Muse, and added my own Javascript to embed JWplayer. I've then created an android .apk file for the package using Phonegap Build (online).

I am hosting JWPlayer and my video files locally. The app is running on a HP Slate 21k, a 21inch Android Tablet with Kitkat4.4. It is a stand alone application with no internet connection.

I have a pinned menu bar that is fixed while the rest of the page scrolls. In the development I have place the JWPlayer on the top most layer (highest z-index).

When I view the HTML page in Firefox, on fullscreen the player overlays all the elements including other instances of JWPlayer and the pinned Menu.

When the same page when rendered in Phonegap and viewed as an Android app, the menu and other player instances appear above the playing fullscreen video; but all other page elements, images, text, buttons are below it.

Please advice on how to correct the same.

We do not have a way to support our Javascript web player in Phonegap. My suggestion would be to use our native Android SDK to build your app. Please see for more details.
