Multiple players with YouTube embeds on a single page do not initialize

I have this issue, with JWP 6 there is no problem but since I used JWP 7 I cannot play multiple videos on the same web page. I use normally this setup:

<div class="otvideo" style="float: left; margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px"><div id="container_632014105225263">&nbsp;</div><script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">jwplayer("container_632014105225263").setup({file: "https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/DDxbgBYCc4k?rel=0", type: 'youtube', height: 315, width: 560, primary: 'flash'});</script><noscript><span class="no-plugin">&nbsp;</span></noscript></div>

On the same page I have other player instances... If I open a single player page works but if the videos are all on the same page works only the first video, all the rest videos remain in waiting status or for better say in initialize status... this issue happens only with JWP 7.0.0 (on my download page there is no chance to download the version 7.0.1 of JWP).

Please fix asap.

PS: JWP7 has also cosmetic issue using the skin built-in... I use always the built-in skin since every time important changes to JWP make unusable the skins. I decided to use the standard skin.

Alessandro

Thanks.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I was able to reproduce this on my side, so it looks like a regression. I will absolutely escalate this to our engineering team.

Hello! I tested today JWPlayer 7.0.2 and the bug is still here! Nothing changed! I cannot use JWP 7 since I use always YouTube videos in the same page. I hope in a fix! At the moment I downgraded to version 6.12.4956 that works fine in html5 mode.

Have a nice day!

Regards.

JWP 7.1.0... just tested with 4 youtube videos. The problem is still here! Nothing changed. I remain with version 6.12 which is able to load several youtube videos without problems. I hope that future version will load multiple youtube videos with the same simplicity of version 6.12 that works great! Ok maybe version 6.12 doesn't support very well mobile devices but works great until now. I think that doesn't seems a regression, it's a regression!

I just went through a similar issue and it seems that nothing is happening for more than a month to fix it.

Is there any dates when this issue will be fixed?

Actually the only chance is go on with the version 6.12 which seems not affected by this horrible bug... in the meanwhile we hope in a fixed version asap. Version 7 ha the switch for changing quality videos horrible never I seen a cosmetic bug such horrible.

As you can see JWP7 has horrible green flags, seems a cosmetic issue that must be fixed asap because I cannot see this video, so much horrible...

Fix of the last minute!!! JWP 7.1.0 has horrible green flag because I have this rule in my style sheet...

ul li {
background-image: url("../gfx/Check.png");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: center left;
margin: 0;
padding: 0 0 0 20px;
list-style-type: none;
}

Is it possible remove this internal style sheet for JWP that may cause this bug?

Any news about the YOUTUBE videos bug ?

Tested version 7.1.4 , and the bug is still here! Nothing has changed ... I see it very difficult to solve the problem since many versions were developed and nothing has changed ...

But why not start again from the engine of version 6.12 so you can enjoy the same opportunities of v.6.12? Ie, if the version 6.12 works with multiple video youtube why not starting from that version adding the features of version 7? Take a bit of reverse engineering and you will see that something is resolved ...

Hey, this is a critical issue for us and it seems like this issue has stalled. Anyway to get someone to notice this again without calling them?

I had suggested to restart from the engine of version 6.12 that works fine. I don't know if this is happening...

Version 7.1.5 did the trick! And now works fine even if there are a lot of player instance in the same web page.

See with your eyes! Tested on FireFox, Edge, IE 11.

Thanks!

PS: I have received your newsletter announcing the version 7.2.0. I cannot find it on my account. I can see only version 7.1.5.
