JW Player 7 Dashboard Questions


When I test http://heustess.com/films.htm
at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
or at https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
I get the following error in their image of my site:

Error loading player:No playable sources found

Could this be the result of me having blocked Google from the old JW Player 6 dashboard?

I also notice at my dashboard that the download is for 7.0.0 and has not been updated to 7.0.1 and that the dashboard will not let me save changes to my profile.

Also, is there any way to unblock the sites that I blocked since I can't do it from the dashboard?

My guess about the Google test pages is that it is related to this thread:

I’ll need to wait to hear back from our engineers about the blocked domains (but I really doubt this is the cause) and the download for 7.0.1.

And what are you trying to save? Are you getting an error message? Can you explain the problem a little more?

In my profile in account settings I was just trying to add my Full Name, Company Name, and Phone Number. Those fields are blank at present. After I add the information and click the SAVE button, nothing happens. When I try to go to another tab on the page, I get the following popup:

This site says...
You have unsaved work on this page. Abandon changes?
OK Cancel

This is no big deal. I was just trying to update my profile info for you folks.

That is strange, I tested this in my JW 7 account dashboard and I was able to save my changes. I will escalate this to our engineers so they can see if there is something causing this problem for your account.

Thanks. I tried it in IE11 and Edge with the same results, so I don't think it is the browser.

Chrome gives the same error. I suspect the problem is related to when my account was switched from pro to free.

I retried with the latest version of Chrome and successfully updated the profile.

This is still a problem if IE11 and Edge don't work with the update profile part of the dashboard. Someone should not have to install Chrome to use this feature.

Please also test for Microsoft Edge, when the engineers are able, as it is the default browser in the new Windows 10 which many Windows users will soon be using. I now use it as my browser.
