How to embed a YouTube channel

Hi there JW Player Community!

I am developing a membership site for a client who wants to embed their YouTube Channel on a page. I've tried using JW Player Wordpress plugin and for some reason, the videos do not load. I just get a spinning wheel. Here is a screenshot of the page:

The player is configured to be responsive using HTML5. The flash option did not work at all with the responsive version, FYI.

The url I used is

and I used "add external media" using the "add media" button in the page editor. the shortcode is [jwplayer player="1" mediaid="553"]

This client has thousands of videos that would take too much time to insert one by one. This is why we need to be able to embed the channel.

We are also glad that the JWPlayer disables sharing, since this will be premium content.

Any input you could provide is greatly appreciated!

I will be encouraging my client to purchase a license if that would give us the options we need.

I believe YouTube changed something on their side recently that limits our player’s ability to embed YouTube playlist URLs. I just tested your YouTube playlist in our Stream Tester at but I got an error. I did notice, however, that single YouTube URLs are working fine, like

I will make sure our YouTube documentation at is up to date with this information.
