Any reason why you've removed my question regarding Analytics?

It was along the lines of "Where have the Analytics support topics gone?" and why can't we disable the "ping home" in JW7 using the JW6 configuration?

I also made a point regarding the "ping home" being a factor in many peoples decision making process - often eliminating your player as an option because they can't switch it off.

The final observation was regarding your focus on promoting Ad implementations and therefore the need to disable this "feature" being less relevant.

Nothing particularly worthy of censorship...

Oh, yes, I remember the original post. The lack of a response made me wonder if JW support had shut down completely (not the first time I've had that thought lately).

I suspect somebody simply clicked a "delete" button without intending to.

The original question from James started an internal conversation as we recognized the need for a more thorough answer. I was out of the office on Friday, so when the other engineers on my team started replying to new threads for the same question, they were unaware of the other internal conversations taking place.
