Video not playing after the ads

Hi
I select the video and ad starts to play but the video is not playing after waiting some time.
Tried it again but same no response.

An ad precedes the film, with another scheduled at around 8 minutes in. After that ad plays, the first frame of the subsequent portion of the video is displayed with the animated "loading" circle, but the application locks up.

Windows 8.1, current on all updates, same results using Firefox, IE 11, and Opera.
