Remove third party requests such as ping.gif

Hi,

I'm looking into a solution for a client and self hosing the player along with using wowza intalled on the same server. Its a requirement of the client that all urls for the website are white listed as its going to used in prisons. Can the call to the tracking ping.gif be removed from the player? Either by deactivating it or making some changes to the source?

thanks in advance,

Mark.

Disabling the tracking pings requires an Enterprise account. If you are interested in upgrading your account, I can get you in touch with someone on our sales team.

Do you want a list of the different content servers we use to add to your whitelist?

Hi Todd,

Can this be disabled in JW7?

Not without an Enterprise license

And with an enterprise licence, how would this be done? Doesn't seem to work using the JW6 method.

My understanding is that it would require a specific license of the software.

So, it needs a specific "analytics disabled" licence, or it needs a different JS library? Or both?

I’m honestly not sure. I am not aware of any JW 7 Enterprise users that are currently using this feature.

The response I got is that it will be both.
