Non-Interaction Events - Analytics tracking

We use use JW Player 6.11 and direct integration in Google Analytics like this descrition:

http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1417179-integration-with-google-analytics

Is it posible to set the additional playback events (Buffer events, Idle events, Pause events, Resume events an Seek events) to be a non-interaction event for analytics?
We only need Video Plays and Video Completes in Analytics.

Thank you for information.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the JW Player support team. I would like to help you with this issue but I am not quite sure I understand the request, Are you trying to track events that the user does not initiate?

Kindly,

Hi,
we use JWPlayer 6.11 and implemented analytics.js script to track video plays.
It works!

In Version 6.11 you add many additional playback events, for example Buffer events, Resume events...

The Question is:

Is it possible to submit only the events "video plays" and "video completes" to analytics, like JW Player 6.10 and below did?

Can I modify the script?

Kindly
Josh

Hello,

Our servers typically need to talk to our files to collect data. You may try different techniques to limit this interaction but may present undesired behavior. At the moment we do not recommend modifying the player library files. You can however look at our Github portal which may offer some alternate means of achieving your goals: https://github.com/jwplayer/jwplayer
