encodeURI with link and add more text to the link url

How can I implewment encodeURI with link: so the current page where jwplayer is playing shows the link in a short form?

Also, is there any way I can add some more text to the link share to look like a message such as,

"http://example.com/videos/12345"

When the user clicks facebook or twitter share, Make the facebook or twitter message look like: Check out this video on http://example.com/videos/12345

Hi,

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by ‘short form’. The share link will reflect the page url, or whatever value you decide to override with -
