Bandwidth usage seems odd

At the moment we're showing at 2.81 GB per hour of video on our analytics. I'm not sure how that adds up though since the highest quality 1080p transcodes we have are about 1.2-1.3 GB per hour. We're using adaptive streaming (RTMP/HLS). Any ideas what could be causing this huge bandwidth usage?
